Structural alterations
Knock-throughs, steel installation, new openings and layout changes carried out with the right calculations, approvals and sign-off.
Opening up a ground floor is the single change that transforms most houses. We handle the structural side properly: a structural engineer produces the calculations, we install padstones and steel to spec, and building control inspect and sign the work off.
Where foundations, new openings or window changes are involved, that work is priced and programmed alongside the rest of the job so the whole project stays on one schedule.
Structural elements usually take 1–3 weeks within the wider programme.
We carry out structural alterations throughout Stockport & Cheshire, including Stockport, Marple, Hazel Grove, Offerton, Bramhall, Cheadle and nearby. See all areas we cover.
